"Every town has an Elm Street."

Union Level's is a Ghost Town in Mecklenburg County near the North Carolina State line. This tiny town was once home to both a bustling horse & buggy line and a rail line, but once the rail line ceased operations the town came to a halt. Today, the town is still in pretty good condition, considering it's been deserted for almost a century. There's plenty to explore in the area including a line of old shops and a deserted church. It stands along an undeveloped section of what will potentially be an extension of the growing Tobacco Heritage Trail, a Virginia Rails to Trails project.
