"Hey Fellas, Strike Up The Band"

The Stonewall Brigade Bandstand in Gypsy Hill Park in Staunton, Virginia hosts one of the nation's oldest continuous performing community bands in North America. Founded in 1855 as a brass band, it has grown and changed into a community concert band with the usual woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments added in. Averaging 70-80 playing members each performance, the band can be heard every Monday evening from June - August.
